Dr. Amanda Kraus, Interim Vice President for Student Affairs
Dr. Amanda Kraus is the Interim Vice President for Student Affairs and ADA/504 Compliance Officer at the University of Arizona, overseeing student experiences, safety, disability access, wellness, career development, and housing. She is also an Associate Professor of Practice in Higher Education, with research focused on universal design, student veterans, and disability dynamics.

Dr. Kevin Bonine, Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholar Development
Dr. Kevin Bonine earned his PhD from UW-Madison before becoming a faculty member at the University of Arizona, where he was recognized with the College of Science’s Distinguished Early-Career Teaching Award in 2012. His extensive career spans research on the local Gila monster and canyon treefrog populations, leadership at Biosphere 2, and his current role as Executive Director of the Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholar Development at UA, where he leads initiatives to expand and scale undergraduate research opportunities
Dr. Christine Salvesen, Chief Retention Officer, Associate Vice Provost, Student Success and Retention Innovation
Dr. Christine Salvesen is the Chief Retention Officer and Associate Vice Provost for Student Success & Retention Innovation at the University of Arizona, where she leads retention initiatives and oversees programs designed to support undergraduate success. With over 30 years of experience at the university, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role, focusing on evidence-based practices and robust assessment to enhance student persistence.
Emily McCarthy, Interim Executive Director, Student Engagement & Career Development
Emily McCarthy is the Interim Executive Director of Student Engagement & Career Development (SECD) at the University of Arizona. With a strong background in career development and student employment, including her previous role as Senior Director of Career Development at SECD and her leadership at Northern Arizona University, Emily is passionate about helping students find careers that align with their strengths, values, and purpose.
